The School Room
The School room is privately tucked into the rear of the hotel and is decorated with a beautiful mustard yellow flocked velvet wallpaper. It has 2 queen beds so plenty of room for 4 comfortably. It derives its name from the picture in the room of the famous schoolhouse still standing in Bodie and also has a view of the Bridgeport School across the back field. The view also includes the best view of the Sawtooth mountain range to the south of town.
There is a wall heater and air conditioner in the room to keep you cozy no matter the weather. If you are lucky, you may get a visit from one of the previous inhabitants who worked at the hotel when it was a brothel in Bodie. Don’t worry, she is friendly and very picky about who she visits.
