Visit Bridgeport and stay at the Bodie Hotel. The only hotel to be taken from the nearby Bodie ghost town over 140 years ago. Located directly across the street from the historic Mono County Courthouse this boutique 7 room hotel is truly one of a kind. Vintage velvet wallpapers and gorgeous antiques welcome you in the Lobby, maybe snap a photo in the Parlor next to the Estey organ or take a load off in the saloon complete with Western mural and dramatic tin ceiling.
After check-in, please check out our gorgeous guest rooms. Recently renovated and refurbished with fresh floors, crisp linens, and an updated twist on the timeless decor. There are more than a few surprises as you tour the hotel and surrounding area.

You did what?
We heard that a few times when we decided to put an offer in on a piece of history in the summer of 2021. By January we were questioning ourselves but these long months of hard work and dedication have paid off. We are excited to welcome our first guests and to bring this gorgeous old building back to life.
Built in the late 1800’s and moved to this site in 1920 this hotel has had many names, The DeChambeau Hotel, The Victorian Hotel and now we are the proud owners of The Bodie Hotel.
We are the Hebards, Jeff & Jolissa. Originally from Southern California, our hearts have been in the Eastern Sierra for the past 25 years. Family tradition brought us here year after year and the family friendliness made us want to stay. We look forward to many seasons here and to serving the community with pride.
