Policies, Terms & Conditions

All bookings at The Bodie Hotel are subject to the following terms & conditions.

1. Deposit 50% deposit charged at time of booking.

2. Payments We accept the following methods of payment: MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and debit cards.

3. Charges When a reservation is booked, 50% of the total amount of the stay will be charged to the credit card provided. (We will never overbook, so you can be 100% assured your stay is locked in.) The remaining 50% balance will be charged to the card upon check-in.

4. Identification
Government-issued photo identification and a credit card, debit card, or cash deposit may be required at check-in for incidental charges. When making a booking online you must provide a valid credit card, email address and phone number. Failure to provide this contact information may result in your reservation being canceled at the properties discretion.

5. Cancellations and No Shows
If canceled or modified up to 3 days (72 Hours) before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. Cancellation policy for holiday weekends (4th of July/Labor Day) holiday is 2 weeks (14 days). Entire length of stay will be charged if canceled/no show less than 14 days. All other cancellations not made with aforementioned notice will incur a cancellation charge equal to the first night’s stay. All refunds will be provided as a credit to the credit card used at the time of purchase within three – five (3 – 5) business days after cancellation within our cancellation policy.

6. Check in and Check out
10am and 3pm
Occupancy Important Information Please note guests planning to arrive after 9 pm must call during the day of arrival to arrange for check-in. Extra-person charges may apply and vary depending on property policy.

7. Pets
Due to the historic nature of our property no pets are allowed. Unauthorized pets violations are subject to a $350 cleaning fee.

8. Accidents/Injuries
We are not responsible for accidents or injuries that occur during your stay.

9. Lost Items
We are not responsible for lost or left behind items. If you do lose or leave behind an item, please call the front desk ASAP and we will do our best to help!

10. Special requests
We’d love to help you if we can! However, special requests are subject to availability upon check-in and may incur additional charges; special requests cannot be guaranteed.

11. Eco Friendly
In effort to conserve our limited water supply and valuable resources maid service/fresh sheets are offered by request after the 3rd night of your stay.

12. No Smoking
Please All rooms are non-smoking. No smoking within 20 feet of the rooms. Unauthorized smoking policy violations are subject to a $350 cleaning fee.

13. Seasonal Road Closure Notice
HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite’s Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Guests are advised to check local road conditions/closures before travel with the California Department of Transportation at www.dot.ca.gov or by calling 800-427-7623
