The Swazey Room

Named after another hotel that once stood in Bodie and after one of our most beloved actors, this room has 3 beds and is perfect for a family of 4 or anyone who needs the ample space. Showcasing a French custom hand carved bed from the early 1900’s and vintage black & pale gold velvet wallpaper making a dramatic statement against the contrasting original wood floors. The dresser in the room is vintage and one of the nicest pieces from the Victorian era that we have in the entire hotel. The room has a floor heater and large air conditioner to keep guests comfortable year round. This room is a favorite of most guests who stay with us.
